Jimmy Ray makes some great points very a practical data center design. Many people look at going green as more of a cost/political move then a engineering design principle.

If you ever get the chance to see Jimmy Ray speak in person, I highly recommend it. He is very down to earth and has a lot of hands on knowledge.
